Day 18....
I'm learning and growing in Him so quickly over these last 3 weeks. It's like spiritual speed...LOL. This has been an amazing Fasting season. A time for growing...understanding the heart of DaddyGod and His desires for us, His children.
Last night I sat in a team meeting at our church. I looked around at God's amazing kids. 40 team members ready to tackle 2012 together. All so different but yet all on the same page.... excited about what is going to happen next.
Different ages...Different giftings...Different personalities...Different backgrounds and culture...
And yet we are all His kids, made in His image. Knowing your Identity is the key. Some years ago I finally grasped hold of this key and it unlocked a door that has me on a new adventure, an adventure of a lifetime. I was taught to think my identity was in who or what job at the time I was doing in my life.
Wife..Mom..Daughter..Sister..Friend..Waitress...Sales Clerk...Financial Officer..Pastor..(which was big one)...and so. These are all different hats that I may have worn over a period of time but they don't define me. Some of these I still wear and proudly, but they don't define who I am.
If all these different hats were taking away there is still one that I will never lose. "PRINCESS". Yes, you heard it correct. I'm a Princess. It took me some years before I realized that I'm a Daughter of a King. I always knew about God, was raised in a wonderful Holiness centered family. But never realized my identity as His little girl, His Princess. But when I came to the understanding that all the different hats that I wear do not define we it was like a breathe of fresh air. I'm His little girl and He so love me. He loves me for me. Not for my hat...LOL. He created me in His image the way he wanted me to be.
Oh, I still have things to learn and continue to grow in Him...to be more like Him... But I'm His little girl . In my perspective if God is my Father and Jesus is His son, then that makes Jesus my big brother & best friend. He is always there teaching me, hearing me, he knows my every thought. To imagine that my big brother died for me...WOW, His love is overwhelming...simply amazing!
I love my new adventure...Being Daddy's little girl, a Princess. I teach my mentoring class that "A Princess is one whose heart reflects her King". What are you waiting for? Go ahead and walk in your authority as His child!
So whether you are a Prince or a Princess, remember you reflect the Heart of our King!
Now GO.... be a Prince or Princess just be Jesus to someone today...
Till Tomorrow~~~
